Terms and conditions
1.0 Liability policies
1.1 RedPets will provide the services as detailed in agreement in a reliable and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express consideration thereof, the client agrees to waive any and all claims against RedPets, unless arising from gross negligence on the part of RedPets. Client agrees to notify RedPets of any concerns within 24 hours of reuniting with their pet.
1.2 RedPets cannot be held responsible or financially liable for pets that suffer an accidental death, injury or escape from the owners premises due to faulty and/or inappropriate enclosures e.g faulty fencing, or from inside the house due to faulty windows, doors, etc., or for any injury, death or damage the escaped pet may cause.
1.3 RedPets cannot be held responsible or be financially liable for any complications pets may suffer or actions of the pet whilst they are unattended.
1.4 RedPets cannot be held responsible or financially liable for the loss, injury, death or actions of any pet that the client has let outside or had instructed to allow outside whilst RedPets is not present. This includes pets with cat flaps/dog flaps and outdoor pets.
1.5 RedPets cannot be held responsible or financially liable for pets that suffer an accidental death, injury or escape whilst walking on or off lead whilst under the care of RedPets, unless arising from gross negligence on the part of RedPets. RedPets cannot be held responsible for any actions of the pet whilst on a walk on or off lead whilst under the care of RedPets, unless arising from gross negligence on the part of RedPets.
1.6 The client understands that the pet must have a registered vet and must be up to date with their vaccinations, flee, tick and de-wormer treatment.
1.7 The client is to make full disclosure of any quality or characteristic problems, which might make the dog not suitable for walking (i.e. behavioural or health problems).
1.8 RedPets does not accept aggressive animals. Client agrees to be responsible for all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care, legal feeds, etc) if a client’s pet should injure or cause the death of another person or animal.
1.9 All pets going on walks must be microchipped with the clients current and up to date address.
1.10 RedPets does not diagnose, prognose, or make any therapy decisions, nor does it offer veterinary services. All medical concerns should be referred to a vet.
1.11 RedPets cannot be held responsible if another service provider enters your property whilst we are not there, or for any alternative pet service providers recommended by ourselves when RedPets is unable to provide a service(s).
1.12 RedPets will apply reasonable judgement in cases of extreme weather conditions i.e. extreme heat or cold, if it is deemed that walking in such conditions may be detrimental or harmful to your dog. Walks may be cut short or cancelled without notice. Let outs may be conducted as an alternative depending on availability, but not guaranteed.
1.13 RedPets reserves the right to cancel the agreement at any time and with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the dog walker and/or other dogs. RedPets may recommend they use our solo dog walking service.
1.14 RedPets will not be held responsible for any pregnancy/siring under their care as a result of pets being unneutered.
1.15 RedPets will attempt to dry and/or clean excess mud off dogs with water after a walk but cannot guarantee they will be clean on return to the premises. RedPets cannot be responsible or financially liable for any cleaning costs incurred through the dog soiling furniture, carpets, upholstery etc.
1.16 Any food requirements, litter or small animal bedding must be provided by the client. Any costs incurred by RedPets due to lack of supply must be reimbursed in full.
1.17 If the clients agrees to leave a key with RedPets, the key will be safeguarded in a professional manner by the means of storage, coding and discreet tagging until the client wishes to repossess the key. Keys will not be left on sides within the home our last visit due to possible return delays where your home and pets could be left for prolong periods. The client must sign a Returned Key form at the point they repossess the key.
2.0 Cancellation policy
2.1 Cancellations notifications should made by phone or email and be received at least 48 hours before the scheduled visit or a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the intended service may be charged.
2.2. RedPets reserves the right to deny or terminate service without notice due to perceived safety concerns, financial concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.
3.0 Business hours
3.1 RedPets dog walking days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Services are usually completed within an anticipated timeframe unless RedPets is unavoidably behind schedule. RedPets cannot guarantee specific times for services to occur. A 2 hour timeframe is to be expected.
3.2 Occasionally evening, weekend or bank holiday walks can be arranged, but this will be at complete discretion of RedPets.
4.0 Payment policy
4.1 Payment for all services should be made within 14 days of the invoice for services being received. In the event of a client having outstanding payments for more than 14 days, any future scheduled services may not be provided by RedPets, and without notice, until outstanding payment is received, unless payment of arrears has been arranged between the client and RedPets. Payments are to be made by cash or bank transfer.
4.2 Prices advertised by RedPets are competitive and not negotiable. Clients will be informed of any future price changes within a timely manner.
5.0 Service provision
5.1 RedPets a small business and therefore there may be times whereby RedPets is unable to provide an agreed service(s). We aim to give all our customers a minimum of 28 days notice of unavailability, but sometimes events outside of our control (e.g. illness, family crisis) may prevent us from doing so. In circumstances such as these, RedPets will endeavour to put you in contact with an alternative service provider. RedPets cannot accept responsibility if alternative arrangements cannot be put in place.
